It is important to know what you are putting on your plate. Vistamont Farms is here to be your farm away from home. We make it our mission to be as transparent as possible when it comes to how your beef is raised.

As owners of Vistamont Farms, Rich and Susan Blank have a long history in these hills. They have raised cattle on this land that has been carved out by Daniels Run Creek for over three decades in  Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania.

Vistamont Farms has grown over the years but is still a simple and local operation that strives to produce a noticeably different beef product for our consumers. We are passionate about our local community, and providing a source of natural, fresh beef.

Simplicity is Best

When it comes to raising our cattle, we believe simplicity is best.  The cattle on our farm spend their time doing what they were made to do. They are never confined to a feedlot, and we use no performance-boosting additives in their production.

Our mission is to provide a locally and naturally raised product. Cattle are free to come and go for grain as they please for the last 120 days.  The grain is a corn-based pelletized grain that has no animal by-products, no hormones, and no antibiotics.

Cattle are then taken to a USDA inspected processing facility that humanely harvest our animals. They then hang in a 38-degree F cooler to age for 10 days for tenderness. The cattle cuts are then vacuum packaged and sealed to ensure a better freezer life.
